Paeonia lactiflora 'Sarah Bernhardt', also known as also known as Chinese Peony or Common Garden Peony, this perennial features huge fragrant ruffled pastel pink double blooms on emerald green foliage. The flowers bloom heavy in late spring to early summer for approximately 7 - 10 days. Great to use as a specimen plant, in groups or around walkways or driveways. The best time to plant peonies are in early fall, however, please note they may take up to 2 years to produce flowers. We recommend that you cut the plant back after the foliage has died down in the fall. This will extend the life of your Peony.
