Paeonia lactiflora 'Karl Rosenfield', also known as also known as Chinese Peony or Common Garden Peony, this perennial features huge rose-shaped, vibrant cheery-red double blooms. The flowers bloom heavy in late spring to early summer for approximately 7 - 10 days. Great to use as a specimen plant, in groups or around walkways or driveways. The best time to plant peonies are in early fall, however, please note they may take up to 2 years to produce flowers. We recommend that you cut the plant back after the foliage has died down in the fall. This will extend the life of your Peony.
