Possibly the perfect Coneflower, Kismet™ Red combines a dense, compact form with huge flowers and an incredible will to keep on blooming! Buds begin to open in late spring and continue to show off brilliant, slightly curved intense red rays surrounding orange cones right until a hard freeze in the fall.
Scientific: Echinacea Kismet ™ Red
Grow Tips: Fertilize yearly with an organic fertilizer. Well drained soil is a must. Flowers are long lived but can be deadheaded when past to encourage more bloom. Leave spent flowers on in fall for the birds who love the seed in the cones. Cut back near ground in late winter
