Features
Dense, vigorous, rounded, broadleaf evergreen shrub with deep, dark green foliage. Big flower buds burst into bloom in mid to late May with big violet-purple bloom trusses that cover the plant? Great for specimen use in foundation plantings or planted in groups for semi-shaded border areas. Amazingly hardy and floriferous displaying great dependability and very nice foliage.
Scientific: Rhododendron Purple Passion
Grow Tips: Likes moist, well-drained soil and mulch. Fertilize regularly and prune immediately after flowering in late spring by cutting branches to just above a set of leaves.
