Description
Cinderella pumpkins, also known as Rougemontais pumpkins, are a unique heirloom variety of winter squash recognized for their distinctive flattened, squat shape and vibrant reddish-orange skin. Botanically classified as Cucurbita maxima, they resemble a traditional cheese wheel and are prized for their rich, sweet flavor and moist texture. Their mild sweetness makes them a versatile choice for roasting, baking, steaming, and preparing soups, sauces, and purees. In addition to their culinary appeal, Cinderella pumpkins are also popular for seasonal decorations due to their unusual shape and striking appearance.
