Features
Beautiful evergreen shrub with shiny, dark green leaves. Aromatic foliage and frangrant flowers. Can do so in light shade. Female plants require a close-by male plant to set berries. Plant one male for every six female plants.
Scientific: Skimmia japonica
Grow Tips: Plant in well-drained acidic soil. Apply acidic based plant food in late winter. Morning sun is best. If desired to control size, prune in late winter after berries have been eaten by wildlife.
